I've known this guy for a few years now, and it seems like I haven't seen his Bugeye in forever since he's been rebuilding it from the ground up. I was extremely happy to see some photos pop up yesterday. I was able to get a full feature up on Hellaflush before the photos were whored out by the masses.

subiefest 2010 aka WFC-fest

I completely forgot I didn't update my blogspot about Subiefest 2010. Well first off it was a pure blast! The WFC homies rolled hard into the main parking area early morning. We had three easy-ups, three grills, and more food and drinks you could imagen. We got stuffed! The Crew had their own makeshift Raffle that included some funny T-shirts and random JDM stuff. It was tons of fun, and It's spawned what should be another WFC coming up before 2010 runs out!

I spent a couple hours today working on the rear fitment of my car. The original plan was for 15mm's in the rear and 20mm's in the front (fronts are 5mm less inward for whatever reason), but I wound up getting a killer deal on a set of 25mm's. I also wanted to step it up bigtime for the One of One show at Long Beach FD. I'm ready to go to a flush street setup so I ordered some 15mm's for the rear for the time being. The rears were super poking at the show, but still had a really good look with the tire still able to tuck in the fender. The 15mm adapter type spacers require the OEM studs to be trimmed on Subaru's and probably most cars. This isn't anything major if you are mechanically inclined. Just take your time and do it right!

'09 favorites: AWD

My favorite AWD vehicle for 2009 goes to one of my friends Kenny. He has an absolutely flawless WRX. I remember talking to him a while back about getting our Subies lower and stepping up our wheel fitment game. Kenny took it to a whole other level than any suby. It's rare to see BBS LM's on a Subaru because of their pure baller factor. Kenny did a few custom things to his wheels to make them one of kind and fit like nothing else. He has all these little JDM touches that are so clean that you can barely notice, yet they bring the car all together for one incredible package. Kenny also has a nice list of bolton performance upgrades that will back up his bling with some umph.
